SELL YOURSELF IN ONE MINUTE by SARAH KYAZIKE

The I do not care attitude may sound or rather feel fulfilling in that moment, but it sure will not take you anywhere. Well, it might or could, but what are you going to be known for? Rotten manners! Selfishness!

There are time ones when you actually do not feel like talking in that if someone said are word to you or asked a question, you'd rather bury yourself under the sand.
But how long will you keep up the deaf grind?

This is when you have to make an effort, to have an open ear. Not just to anything, but to something, atleast one, or two, even several. Lets face it, closing yourself up from the world won't get you anywhere. People are looking to reach out to thousands by the day in this evolving world. But how are you going to reach someone's heart in just 2 minute minutes.

One evening you get to have a stall in the park to clear your head, or maybe push a friend for basketball practice and you get yourself engaged with your immediate neighbour. You actually came out to clear your head, but as you are conversing, you get to check out different job websites from your phone, he notices and gets to ask you what you think about a cetrain kind of job.

I do not know should be out of your vocabulary. Doesn't do you much. Atleast you should know whether you like it or not. Atleast you've heard a friend mention something about it. All the same, say something, as much as you do not know the intention behind the question, always be positive, show that you would be happy to have something like that and save yourself from banging your head against the wall when you get back home on realising you've just passed on an opportunity you have been looking for for a century.

1. Know what you want.
2. Why you want it.
3. The best words you can use to best decribe/summerise your intent/interest.
4. Be sure you are sure.
5. A smile is proof that you like what you are talking about(not laughing out loud)
6.You should have done some research on the internet about it, how to best present it.

Strangers come with luck. Not all strangers have the best intentions. They do not know you. So why care?

All the same, paint the best picture of yourself. It will shine you allover.

THAT GOOD FRIEND THAT YOUR FRIENDS DO NOT LIKE.

Life is a mystery. This description sounds farfetched. You got to live to understand that mystery is what life is. Otherwise one may not get your point.

Friends! A tidbit that comprises of life. In my previous article I WILL GET THERE was a part where we said that one needs people to get there. These are the friends everyone needs.

We all have that one good friend that your friends don't like. I hate to use the word hate but all me to use it this time.

This is one person that practically looks out for you.It could be your girlfriend/boyfriend, a spouse, a friend with whom you share a certain interest, could be a vice that others do not know about, or maybe understands a certain situation you are in and you probably fear to let these other friends know about because of fear of being judged,
but there is just one something that seems quite off with this friend that makes your other friends frown at his/her sight.

It could be the way he/she dresses, he could be an introvert and finds you more accomodating. There is just so many reasons for you two to be friends but it doesn't quite add up or rather your friendship is not appealing to the onlookers inclusive of these so called friends of yours.

Let me raise this disclaimer. You can be a friend to someone and that someone could not be your friend.
There is that friendship with someone that is silent, confidant. There is also a loud friendship.

You may always look forward to helping someone, doing things for someone or being available incase that someone needs you, because you even get the pleasure to be of help. And of course the is person you are being a friend to takes the opportunity to make use of your availability. Only calls you when they need your help and you are always there.

They are never there when you need them. In fact this one time you actually need help and ask for it, they make a big fuss out of it and trust me you'll wonder what's happening!

Now that shows that you are their friend but they do not consider themselves to be your friend. You only exist to them when they need something. Look out for this before you get used!

Your friends do not like your friend probably because they had a terrible encounter in the past, or rather they know someone that was wronged by your friend, thus they spread the word so that others can hate your friend. But you were not part of their drama. They may ask you what you get to talk about with your him in vain because. They may even ask you to stay away from him/her but you cannot because u also know that your friend needs a friend to talk to.

It really feels bad to see your friend being looked down on. It sucks to see a loved one not being understood and your efforts to make others understand them could even cost your friendship with others. But you try anyway! Sometimes they ask you to disclose what you cant!

Incase your two friends had a clash, you may get caught up in the middle, each one needs you to be on their side. Ofcourse you can tell who is in wrong! But even the one in wrong doesn't want to admit that they are or even apologise. And you want to make them see that this disagreement could cost them more than their friendship, because you know they need each other. Yes! We all need someone to move forward.

This friend in wrong will be cast out of the friendship circle, but see, they are not all that bad! This one error that they have failed to sort out will make them that one friend that your friends do not like because others are siding with the wronged.

We all know anger blurrs our thinking, but we need to learn to think with our brains rather than emotions. You may not be able to take back what you might do or stay in a state of anger. You could lose the potential friends that could build you. Could be  a personal friend or client. Sometimes we cannot afford to lose them.

In a state of getting caught up between that one friend and your friends, you should be rational enough not to let out your friends secrets to your friends, or else you'll be like them.

Your friends might press you too much, sulk at your silence. You could ask them if they would feel good if their confidant let out their secret.
The day you break the secret, is the day you'll break your friend's trust and your friend will lose the only friend they had.

"Imagine you without anyone to look out for you"

If you do not want to be understanding to others, how will they get the zeal to understand you too. They could as well choose not to!

BE THAT FRIEND THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE.
